A

O: Between C3-Th9-region. Parc cervicis from raphe of neck, pars thoracic from lig.supraspinale
I: Pars cervicis on prox. 3/4 of spina scapulae, pars thoracic on prox. third of spina scapulae.
A: Elevate forelimb and draw cranially

A

O: Pars capitis from crista nuchae, pars cervicis from raphe of neck and proc.spin. of Th1-3, pars thoracic from proc.spin. of Th4-7.
I: Dorsomedial border of scapula
A: Elevate limb and pulls base of scapula against trunk forwards/backwards

M.serratus ventralis

A

O: pars cervicis from proc.trans. of last 5 C.vert., pars thoracic from middle of ribs 1-8.
I: Facies serrata on scapulae
A: Supports trunk, helps at insp. and carry shoulder cranial/caudal with respect to the FL

Mm.pectorales

A

M.pectoralis superficialis:
O: -descendes from manubrium sterni, -transversus from first 2-3 sternebrae.
I: Crista tuberculum major and upper part og crista humerii
A: Ventral connection betw. the limb and trunk, adduction and draws free limb cran/cau depending on it´s position.
M.pectoralis profundus:
O: All/most of the sternebrae, the costal cartilages of the true ribs.
I: Mostly on tub.minor and a small aponeruosis to tub.major.
A: supports trunk and is a strong retractor (draws cau.) and adductor of the forelimb
