Q

M.flexor digitorum superficialis

A

O: Fossa supracondylaris of femur, partly fused with m.gastrocnemicus caput lat.
I: It´s tendo plantaris turns from med. to lat. direction around common calcanean tendon, on the surface of tuber calcanei it makes a cap (gale calcanea) then finally attaches to middle phalanx of digit 2-5 on plantar surface
A: Flexes stifle, extends hock, flexes joints of digits 2-5

A

Two musces: M.flex.dig. lateralis and - medialis
O: -lateralis from prox. cau. half of fibula, prox. caudolat. border of tibia and interosseous membrane, -medialis starts caudo-prox. from tibia.
Below tarsus the two parts unites.
I: Plantar surface of dist. phalanx of digit 2-5 on tub.flexorium
