Q

Describe the trait theory of leadership, and why it is unlikely to be true?
Also describe a side theory of trait

A

Leaders are born with the ability to take charge
Genetically inherited, stable, enduring, predictable
Should be able to take charge in any situation

Unlikely to occur as a rugby captain could not be a football one (self confidence is low)

The great man theory - leadership qualities passed down to sons only
