Explain the Self-efficacy theory

A

Performance accomplishments - performer should be reminded of previous successes in the difficult skill
Vicarious experiences - performer should watch someone of equal ability complete the skill successfully
Verbal persuasion - convince the perfomrer they can perfomrer the skill well
Control of arousal - performer evalues their internal feelings and physiological state

These all lead to an efficacy expectation, which leads to athletic expectation
