pathway

A

-originates at ala nasi of nose at Yingxiang (LI20)
- runs up bridge of nose to inner canthus and meets with BL meridian at BL1
- continues over eye, through pupil and emerges at Chengqi (ST1) in lower orbital ridge
- travels down infraorbital foramen, downm lateral side of nose to corner of mouth
- internal connection curves around lips to connect with upper gums and Chengjiang (CV24) at mental labial gp
- externally continues posterolaterally across lower portion of cheek to corner of mandible and curves up to corner of hairline, internally to GV24
- From Daying (ST5) anterior border of masseter with GV14 then supra-clavicular fossa
- Quepen (ST12) internal branch enters chest and diaphragm continues down to connect with ST and SP before going to ST30 at superior border of pubic symphysis 2 cun from mid
- externally from ST 12, travels down chest 4 cun lateral to midline, passes diaphragm and continues 2 cun lateral.
- from Qichong (ST30) diverts laterally to ASIS in line with lateral border of patella. continues down line
- along lateral aspect 1 finger from tibia after knee. after Xiajuxu (ST39) goes up to ST40 then down to dorsum of foot
- runs b/t 2nd+3rd MT
- terminates lateral side of 2nd toe
internal branch
- tibial branch - ST36 to lateral side of 3rd toe
- dorsum foot branch - ST42 to medial side big toe+SP-M

A

starts Futu (ST32), continues up to abdomen and passes ST, SP, HT before continuing to mouth, nose bridge and infra-orbital region, curves around orbit and connects with BR, connects to 3rd confluent pt ST9

A

starts at 2nd, 3rd, 4th toes on dorsum of foot, ascends to tibia where divides into 2 branches - one branch knots at lateral knee and joins with GB, other branch continues to face to knot at mouth, below nose and joins BL-M.
branch also separates at jaw and knots in front of ear
