Whistleblowing is when employees disclose information about unlawful practice in the workplace. (making a disclosure that is of public interest)

The equality act - Businesses are not allowed to discriminate over disability/gender/race etc.

The data protection act states that is it illegal to use customer or staff information for any purpose other than the one it has been given or collected for.

The codes of practice are the rules that explain how people should behave in the workplace.
