Clinical Features

A

Severe pain
VA —

Hard red eye
Halo round lights
Semi-dilated pupil
Dull hazy cornea
Worse symptoms w/ mydriasis (watching TV in dark room)

Management

A

MEDICAL

  • Acetazolamide IV* (carbonic anhydrase i)
  • Topical agents (B-blockers, steroids, pilocarpine, phenylephrine)

SURGICAL

  • Peripheral iridotomy
  • Surgical iridectomy
  • Lensectomy
