  1. Raise the pitch of your voice at the end of a declarative sentence.
    e. g. Carlos busca un mapa. -> ¿Carlos busca un mapa?
  2. Invert the order of the subject and verb of a declarative sentence or put the subject at the end of the sentence.
    e. g. Maria regresa a las seis. -> ¿Regresa a las seis Maria?
  3. Add the tag ¿no? or ¿verdad? (right) at the end of the sentence.
    e. g. Maria regresa a las seis. -> Maria regresa a las seis. ¿no?/¿verdad? (right)
