What is electroconvulsive therapy ?
Electric currents are sent though the brain to induce a breif seizure, which can reverse certain illnesses

Procedures performed on the brain in order to alleviate severe symptoms of mental illness that are not responsive to less invasive treatments

Medication that reduces anxiety via central nervous system….the side effect include impaired attention and memory, and loss of coordination

Client change potentially destructive behavior through learning principles

Helps person change potentially self destructive behavior through addressing negative thought patterns that fuel the behavior

Client is given an accepting empathetic environment in which explore and attain personal growth
