Q

Choke from front against wall

A

Conduct a rear breakfall against the wall. Raise one arm into the sky trapping your opponents hand between your shoulder and neck while at the same time, thrust hips forward to create space from wall. Turn your body inward while tracing a “J” along the wall with your other shoulder (using leverage) and come down with an elbow onto their arms. Grab their arm and shoulder as if going to strike with a knee, yet foot sweep their foot closest to the arm that was raised and sending them into the wall head first.

Q

Choke from behind against a wall

A

When pushed, conduct a front breakfall against the wall. Whichever side your head turns to, that is the side in which your arm will go up. The arm will go up, trapping their hand between your bicep/shoulder and your neck/cheek. Your opposite arm will go down and that shoulder will dip down for leverage. Turn in the direction of your arm that is up and then come down with an elbow and strikes.

Q

Choke from behind and they pull you

A

Take a small step back to maintain balance while at the same time, bring hands up and behind like a static choke from the rear. Attempt to aim for the eyes while plucking hand away from throat. Whichever foot went back last, to maintain balance, that is the side you will turn to, holding onto their hand on that side. As you turn, and twist their hand to the outside, take your other hand along your arm and grab their hand and complete the twist on their hand, sending them to the ground. You can also twist and send a groin kick.
