A
Monotremes (egg-laying mammals) e.g. playpus, echnida
Marsupials (with pouch) e.g. kangaroo, koala
Placentalia (placenta + umbilical cord) e.g. bear, human, cat
- all with hair
- all produce milk to feed young
- differ in how the supply their young before birth
