A

RBC absorb water through membrane to equalize the pressure. RBC volume increase and the cell burst.. Hemoglobin is released into the solution –> red with debris.

A

intracellular water passes through the membrane into the solution. Volume decrease and cell shrinks –> star shape and breaks down.
