the model states that the environment is what makes the dieses or the disorder to appear.

Even if you have genetics that states that you have a higher risk of getting mental issue they wont appear until the environment triggers them.

An example is “ your have worked in a office your whole life and the you change carriers and become a farmer and strain you back. So the environment triggered that.

Personality disorders are disorders that  are ongoing with a pattern and are very deep rotted in a person. Personality disorders impairs the functioning and wellbeing of the person. 
Thy are 3 klustres 
Typ A: lite udda och ecentriska 
Typ B: dramatiska och emotionella 
Typ C: anxious, fearful cluster

Paranoia A: where you are suspicious and assume people are against you.

narcissistic B: where you take advantage of people and you need constant approval and appraisal of others.

Histrionic B: pattern of excessive attention-seeking emotions

Schizoid A: Att man väljer att vara ensam och inte visa sina känslor, väldigt få vänner och väldigt få sexuella partners

Schizotypal A: Också extremt ensamma men klär sig väldigt konstigt och beter sig väldigt underligt. Helt enkelt väldigt märkliga människor. Saknar social kompetens för sociala situationer. sommarjacka mitt i vintern. Tror på magi.

A behavior: Stressade, spända och tävlingsinriktade.Som ofta får sjukdomar, sämre hälsa eftersom kroppen aldrig får nog med återhämtning.

A-personality: Har beteendet av A behavior. Mer riskbenägna och röker och dricker med.

It’s a longitudinal study done on a couple of children to predict longevity and cause of death.
Conscientiousness: children that was rated as prudent, truthful and free from vanity lived longer and hade 30% less likelihood of dying any given day.

Sociability: no evidence that related to longer life or healthier life.

Cheerfulness: die sooner, because of their attitude to life is carefree and careless which can be harmful.

Stress: children whom had parents divorce before age 21 faced a greater mortality risk.

A

A self healing personality is a personality that is very unlikely to become ill even if the person that have that kind of personality engages in stressful situations or horrible conditions.

To not become ill you have to have feel that your in control and not feel powerless.

You also have to have a commitment to something you feel is important and meaningful.

You also have to respond to life with energy and excitement

Sense of coherence is a persons confidence that the world is understandable, manageable and meaningful
