A

When the Sprint Goal becomes obsolete.

Example - company changes direction, or if market/technology conditions change.

  • Due to short duration of Sprints, this rarely makes sense.

What happens when a Sprint is cancelled?

A

Any “Done” Product Backlog items are reviewed - if some of them are potentially releasable the Product Owner can accept them.

All incomplete items are re-estimated and put back in the Product Backlog.
