Q

What would be the likely difference in outcome of a pregnancy failure in a sow on day 80 and a ewe on day 80?

A

If sow lost pregnancy, then would stay till parturition, mummification would occur
Ewe would expel it straight away as placental shift would have occurred,
If the ewe only lost one (multiple foetuses), then it would be mummified, but the other would be stay till term
