Adverbial Clauses:
Main clause-
I like living in the U. S.
Adverbial Clause-
“Even though” I miss my country,
It gives more information about the main clause. it is also called depended clause.
A group of words, a place a noun that describe the action.
Where something happen?
Why….? , How……?
Verbs: are described by adverbs.
Nouns: are described by adjective.

Types of clauses:
_ Time clauses. [When happen the action?]
_ Reason clauses. [Why…….?]
_ Purpose clauses. [Why……?]
_ Contrast clause. [How…….?]
_ Condition clauses. [If ….., Cause-what happen first, effect-2nd -what happen because the effect]

Conditional clause is one sentence earlier then the effect.
1._An adverbial clause is dependent on the main clause for its meaning. it must be attached to the Main clause
_ Wrong: She went to Mexico. Because she wanted to study spanish.
_Right: She went to Mexico because she want to study spanish.
2._ The dependent clauses can come before or after the main clause. If it comes before, it is usually separated from the main clause with a comma.
Compare:
_I went to Canada before I came to the United State. ( No commas)
_Before I came to the united state, I went to Canada.
