Define Ohm’s Law:

A

I=E/ R. The current (I) in a circuit is directly proportional to the voltage (E) and inversely proportional to the resistance (R). Current (I) is a directed movement of electrons in conductor or circuit from positive to negative. Voltage (E) is measured as the difference of potential of two charges of interest. Resistance (R) is the opposition to current. The ohm is the basic unit of resistance.

A

Alternating Current:
No. 1 and No. 2 primary ac bus breakers supply armament, heating, lighting, engine, instrument, and radio loads. AC essential breaker supplies flight instrument and control system loads. AC monitor bus breaker supplies main rotor blade deice AC secondary bus supplies windshield anti-ice and tail rotor blade deice.

Direct Current:
No. 1 and No. 2 dc primary bus supply power to circuit breakers or circuit breaker panels DC essential bus provides power to circuit breakers on overhead console circuit breaker panels. Battery bus and battery utility bus provide power to circuit breakers on the lower console circuit breaker panel.

Purpose of Compass?

A

There are two displacement gyroscopes. Each gyroscope consists of a vertical and a directional gyro, mounted in multiple gimbals. Synchro outputs representing heading, roll, and pitch, and roll synchro signals to the TDP and to AFCS for distribution to the various equipment.
