Guidelines for wearing/carrying helmets:
A. Any member operating a scooter must wear a helmet (face shield required for two wheel scooter)
B. A member must wear or carry helmet when specifically directed to do so.
C. Members performing RMP in uniform will keep helmets in the vehicle trunk for use if needed.
D. All other members shall keep their helmets in their lockers where they will be readily accessible.
When to wear a dual purpose disorder control/scooter helmet:
In un-supervised situations:

In all supervisory situations:
-Ranking member on the scene will determine if helmets are to be worn or removed except in emergencies.
