ACS, Stroke, CVD, cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial disease, AF (when DOAC/warfarin C/I) to reduce thrombus, mild-to-moderate pain/fever

A

Irreversibly inhibits COX, reducing production of thromboxane and arachidonic acid, reducing platelet aggregation

A

GI irritation, GI ulcer, haemorrhage, tinnitus in high dose, aspirin overdose is dangerous
