  • OEI flight conditions ESTABLISH
  • Respective EMER OFF sw PRESS
  • Respective BOT 1 / BOT 2 pb PRESS
  • FIRE EXT on CAD Check if no FIRE EXT on CAD Respective BOT 1 / BOT 2 pb PRESS
  • Clock START
  • Single Engine Emergency Shutdown PERFORM
  • LAND ASAP if FIRE is still on after 1 min:
  • Respective BOT 1 / BOT 2 pb PRESS
  • LAND ASAP

 

  • if FIRE is still on:
  • LAND IMMEDIATELY
  • Helicopter EVACUATE

FIRE - allgemein

  • BOT zeigt am Knopf an was verfügbar ist bzw. welche Bottle aktiv und bereit ist
  • F VALVE Cl → Brandhahn fährt
    • in der Regel nicht zu sehen da nur sehr kurzes Aufleuchten
  • F VALVE: Caution für das Fuel Valve, Funktionsweise gestört
    • wenn es schließen soll, schließt es nicht
    • wenn es nicht schließen soll, schließt es
  • Briefing:
    • "Ich stelle den HS ab"
    • Co soll raus gehen und löschen
    • PAX sollen zu der Seite aussteigen, wo es nicht brennt
    • ist Schweben möglich? 1 TW Landung
    • Anflug nicht über bebautem Gebiet

ELECRICAL FIRE

If landing without electrical system is possible

  • GEN I and GEN II sw OFF
  • BAT MSTR sw OFF
  • LAND ASAP
  • GND1 / GND2 sw Consider

 

If electrical systems are required:

 

  • Both BUS TIE sw´s OFF
  • Both BUSTIE OPN cautions check on
  • DC VOLTS, GEN AMPS and BAT AMPS Compare, note higher load
  • BAT MSTR sw OFF

 

If fire / smoke continues:

  • GEN sw (higer load) OFF

if fire / smoke continues

  • Both GEN sw ON other GEN sw OFF

if fire / smoke continues

  • both GEN sw´s OFF LAND ASAP

CABIN FIRE

  • Airspeed VY recommended
  • Heating / Air condition OFF
  • Fire EXTINGUISH
  • Fumes, smoke ELIMINATE
  • LAND ASAP After Landing
  • Double Engine Emergency Shutdown

CARGO SMOKE

  • Heating / Air condition OFF
  • Fire EXTINGUISH
  • Fumes, smoke ELIMINATE
  • LAND ASAP

XMSN OIL P + XNSN OIL P (left & right)

  • Power REDUCE, as much as possible
  • Airspeed VY if XMSN Oil pressure below minimum
  • LAND ASAP

LOW FUEL

  • Clock START
  • Fuel quantity indication CHECK

BAT TEMP

  • BAT MSTR sw OFF
  • LAND ASAP

AP A. TRIM

  • Flight controls HANDS-ON

ROTOR RPM

  • NRO indication CHECK
  • Collective ADJUST to maintain NRO in range

TAILROTOR FAILURE HIGE / HOGE

HIGE

  • Both TWIST GRIPS TURN to minimum

 

HOGE

  • Collective REDUCE immediately if hight permits
  • Airspeed GAIN 70 KIAS or higher
  • Level Flight ATTAIN continue TAILROTOR FAILURE in Flight

 

if hight does not permit

  • Airspeed GAIN as much as possible
  • SHED BUS EMER
  • Crashsicherheit ESTABLISH at about 100 ft AGL
  • Flare Attitude ESTABLISH
  • Collective INCREASE after landing:
  • Collective LOWER slowly
  • Cyclic stick MAINTAIN in neutral position

TAILROTOR FAILURE in Flight

  •  REDUCE to obtain minimum sideslip
  • Airspeed MAINTAIN 70 KIAS or higher
  • Suitable landing area SELECT
  • HI NR sw OFF Approach to analyze situation
  • Shallow approach with nose pointing to the left
  • Level off, PERFORM with min 70 KIAS an at 10-30ft GND
  • Airspeed REDUCE slowly until H/C nose is aligned with flight direction
  • Airspeed NOTE
  • Go Around PERFORM
  • 10. Join Traffic Pattern, choose procedure

 

A Airspeed is less than 40 KIAS Assisting factors for low PWR

  • Wind from the LEFT
  • Low mass
  • HI NR sw ON

 

Assisting factors for low PWR -

  • Wind from FORWARD
  • High mass
  • HI NR sw OFF
  • shallow approach with H/C nose pointing to the left

 

  • PERFORM Approch at analyzed Airspeed + 10 KIAS
  • Level off at 2 - 5 ft GND
  • Airspeed reduce until H/C nose is aligned with flight direction
  • Landing PERFORM

  • OEI flight conditions ESTABLISH

  • XMSN oil pressure indication CHECK normal

 

if indications are within limits:

  • LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE

if indications are within limits and XMSN OIL T caution illuminates:

  • 4. LAND ASAP

  • XMSN oil temperature and pressure indication CHECK

if indications are within limits:

  • LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICBLE

if indications are out of limits:

  • POWER REDUCE as much as possible

if indications remain out of limit

  • LAND ASAP

DOUBLE ENGINE EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN On Ground

  • Both ENG MAIN sw OFF
  • Both FADEC sw OFF
  • Both Fuel PRIME PUMPS OFF
  • BAT MSTR sw OFF

Abnormal Vibrations

LAND ASAP

FADEC FAIL

  • Collective lever ADJUST as necessary to maintain NRO in limits
  • Affected Engine IDENTIFY by small collective changes
  • Respective TWIST GRIP ADJUST slowly to set 80% N1
  • Collective lever READJUST as necessary without changing TWIST GRIP position
  • HI NR sw OFF
  • MAINTAIN min 10 % torque to keep NR in normal range 
  • LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
  • Shallow Approach After Landing
  • AP OFF
  • Respective TWIST GRIP REDUCE before lowering collective
  • 11. NRO / N2 KEEP in limits

  • Bestätigen lassen welches TW am Twist Grip runter geregelt werden muss
  • Twist Grip solange drehen bis anderes TW Last übernimmt
  • Rest: Fadec Fail Verfahren
