Q

Society’s view of adolescence as a time of angst, and something which should be dead by parents? Exaggerated

A

Throughout history society has viewed all teens as trouble makers as dangerous and immature. These are all stereotypes of what a typical teenager is
Lazy and aggressive

Most parents dread adolescents because their child challenges and questions them more then ever and want a greater say in decision making
They clash on different views usually the small stuff like tidying room, homework, chores , clothing choices. For the most part teens and parents conflict are exaggerated and they are not as horrible As society thinks
Teens wAnt to express themselves through music, clothes and choice of fiends but still look to their parents to guide them through safety issues and moral issues
