How does Tropicamide work?
A
This drug is a muscarinic receptor antagonist, it works by blocking muscarnic acetylcholine receptors, blocking the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from binding. This inhibits the concentration of the iris sphincter muscles and cilary muscles and relaxes them so that pupils can dilate fully.
