Comprised of Chapters 2-10. Describes how the Ops Specs will be complied with.

Comprised of Chapter 1 of Ops Manual. Contains items required in 135.23. Set of FAA approved guidances for specific operations. Contains items required in 135.23.

What is Operational Control?
Who has it?
Op Specs A008 Operational Control
Responsibility of the certificate holder for the operational control of the aircraft, safety and the action or inaction of all employees.
Exception: ATC instructions/clearances, notams, safety of flight decisions made by PIC
Who has Operational Control?
At least one management personnel listed in A006
What allows the pilot to accept/decline calls?
How is operational control accomplished?
Management personnel accomplish operational control through the release given to the pilot at shift start, through comm center.
All items in the release are required for operational control.

1) pilot attended approved initial training
2) EFBs must have minimum charge of 70% at beginning of the flight day
