A

What benefits occur from altitude training?

A

The lower ppO2 leads to us having to make more EPO -> leading to an increase in RBC -> leading to an increase in concentration or haemoglobin -> increases oxygen carrying capacity -> increases the delay of OBLA -> increase tolerance of lactate

Therefore we increase VO2 max
