Q

How does antigen presentation work?

A

1) antigen is taken up by phagocytosis and processsed into vesicles
2) MHC class II peptide-antigen on APC recognised by CD4+ cell
3) CD4+ cell activates macrophages and kills phagocytosis oaathogen
4) B cell acts as an APC
5) MHC class II peptide-antigen activates CD4+ cell to secrete cytokines and helps B cell to secrete Ig
6) Antibody binds to extracellular antigen
