Q

Explain the hip localization technique. Where is the femoral neck? Femoral head?

A

Draw a line from ASIS to Superior margin of
Pubic Symphysis
Draw another perpendicular to the midpoint
of the 1st line.
Femoral Head: 1 ½” down
Femoral Neck: 2 ½” down
