Targeting cycle:
- Locate the TGT
- Assess TGT as a valid military objective
- Minimise collateral damage SFARP
- Assess collateral damage as proportional
- Release weapon to achieve best possible chance of impacting the selected aim point commensurate with the tactical situation
- Cancel or suspend the attack should it become apparent that the assessment made under Steps 2 and 4 are no longer valid
