A
congenital joint contractures. when there are 2 or more joints with congenital contraction, a child may be diagnosed with AMC
- weakness
- limited or no ROM in affected joints

- non-progressive and cannot be reversed or cured
- PT and OT to increases and/or maintain joint ROM

- ROM and functional muscle strength
- mobility, positioning, and movement
- ability to participate in occupations at home and in school, work, and community settings

A
- gentle ROM and weight bearing exercises for joint integrity and muscle strength
- environmental modifications and adaptations
- training in use of mobility devices
- caregiver education
