1 million candela for 120 seconds
33
Label and name this part
M762A1 Safe and arming module
34
155mm Illuminate candle housing
35
How does the M485A2 work? (long boy just blue it, bookmark it and read 2 mins before the test lol)
fuze functions and the Primary Expelling Charge is ignited. expelling charge generates gas pressure and ignites the delay composition in the Delay Holder gas pressure builds up until it is sufficient to cause the shear pins at the base of the projectile to fail. shear pins fail the contents of the projectile are ejected rearwards Drogue Parachute Assembly deploys, bringing the complete internal assembly into a vertical plane four spin retardant fins deploy, slowing down the rotation After approximately eight seconds the delay composition burns through and ignites the Secondary Expelling Charge. secondary expelling charge ignites the main illuminant candle and expels the candle along with the main parachute. The burning candle descends beneath the deployed main parachute
36
3 major sub-components of the SMART DM702A1 sub munitions?
- Orientation and Stabilisation Unit - Multi Mode Sensor - Warhead containing Safe and Arming Mech
37
At what height does the sub munition self destruct if no target is achieved?
20m
38
Order of Fire for the SMART DM702A1.
- Fuze functions - Ejection charge fired - Power activated - Sensors activated - Warhead armed - Range finding - False target rejection - Target detection - Aim point calculated - Warhead fired
