What is the algorithm for infant BLS?

A

Look for global and local dangers
Shout loudly ‘BABY’, tickle feet and clap hands
Call for help
Assess airways, breathing, pulse: slight chin lift (towel under head?), hand on chest to feel for breathing (for 10 seconds), pulse ??
Tell them to call 999 (ambulance), tell them you have an unconscious non breathing (infant?) at (location)
5 rescue breaths (bag valve over nose and mouth with both hands, get assist to press)
15:2 compressions to breaths
AED (get oxygen away), tell everyone to stand back
