8th Street Pale Ale

A

English Style Bitter 5% abv
Burton water
English bitters are known for their balance of malt and hop flavors and aromas. Bitters are, ironically not all that bitter. The name comes from a time when people were used to sweet, strong malty beers. The new bitter style was lower in alcohol and more balanced, so, to the regular beer drinker it seemed overly bitter. we use all english hops for authenticity.

available in kegs, growlers and bottles

This bavarian style ale uses 51% wheat malt in the recipe. Very low in bitterness, its unfiltered so the characteristic cloudiness is achieved. The haze comes from suspended reminiscent of cloves and banana and is put out by the yeast. While some of this aroma carries over in the flavor, the dominate flavor is of the malty wheat.

Oatmeal Stout

A

English Style 5.2%
London Water
An English, not Irish style stout. Somewhat bitter but smoothed out by serving it with a nitrogen/c02 blend. The nitrogen is less acidic than C02 and creates a characteristic small bubble, cascading effect and tight head. The addition of flaked oats further rounds out the flavor while creating mouth-feeling body

due to the nitrogen deteriorating the quality of beer too quickly, stout is only available at our locations and not to go
