Determinist means behaviour is controlled by external factors beyond our control
(D) all behavioural factors are external and beyond our control.
E.g rewards and punishments that are provided by our environment. We do not chose the environment we are born into so cannot determine own behaviour
Reductionist means complex human behaviour is simplified down to one simple factor
(R) products of learning through principles that it. Disregards other factors e.g genes. only outcomes of our interactions in an environment are important

Nomothetic - each persons behaviour comes from common factors that are shared by all humans
