- scientists obtain mice lymphocytes
- the pathogen is added to the lymphocytes to stimulate the production of antibodies
- the mice lymphocytes are combined with a tumor to form a hybridoma
- the hybridoma is cloned

How can monoclonal antibodies be used to detect pathogens?
A
- bind the mass to florecent dye
- add the mass to the slide
- if the pathogen is present the jabs will bind to the pathogen and will show up under the microscope
