- don’t have to rent office space
- save money on staff when don’t need them
- can quickly cover staff if multi skilled
Disadvantages of flexible working to employer
- can be hard to find people wanting less hours
- if homeworkers may not be able to do the work to a high standards.
- temporary workers are less likely to show commitment.

- temps may lead to a job
- less stressful
- multi skilled more motivated
Disadvantages of flexible working to employees
- not always guaranteed hours if zero
- if inflexible may lose work
- can get distracted if home working
