Explain the case of Phineas Gage

A

Gage was working construction, an iron rod exploded and went through Gages skull, but he was fine later in the day. Damage to Gages Frontal Cortex resulted in loss of social inhibitions. Frontal cortex is is involved in personality and behaviour, Gages social ability was changed after incident, but he remembered everything else prior to accident.
