Means people lots of people live there
What impact have migrants had in Bristol?
Enrich the culture
They need to provide tutors for children who’s first language is not English
There is more pressure on housing

How is Bristol changing?
The population is growing rapidly
The electrification of the train line means that the journey time has gone down to 70 mins
The population is more ethnically diverse
There are more people in Bristol that are under 16 to those of pensionable age
Over 2 mil people live within the 50 km of city

Has two professional football teams, attract a wide range of audiences

Over 1/3 of Bristol is open space and 90% of the population live within 350 m for a park/ water. There are 8 nature reserves and 300 parks in the city. In 2015, it became their primary principle to make the city as green as possible
