Describe bioleaching
A
- used when there is a large body of water with metal in it. To extract add in bacteria which will take up the metal and then leach it out.

Describe phytomining
A
Used when there is a metal in soil but low yield of it. To extract plant a plant near it. The plant will absorb the metal. Then cut the plant and burn it. The ashes can be used in electrolysis which will extract the metal.
