این حروف اضافه برای مشخص کردن مکان یا موقعیت چیزی یا کسی به کار میرن، مثل:
in = درون // on = روی //at = در- نزدیکیِ // next to = کنار // in front of = جلوی //behind = پشت
🔹 Examples:
1.She sat in the square and watched the tourists.
2.There’s a box under your bed.
3.Someone’s standing in front of the gate.

📌 نکته:
بعضی حروف اضافه مثل in, on, و at ممکنه با مکان های مختلف استفاده بشن، ولی معنی جمله رو تغییر نمی دهند.

برای بیان حرکت از یک نقطه به نقطه ی دیگر استفاده میشوند، مثل:
into = به داخل///onto = به روی///across = از عرضِ///through = از داخلِ///past = رد شدن از کنار///down = به پایین///up = به بالا
Examples:
1.The plane flew over the city.
2.He ran across the road.
3.Don’t run down the steps. You’ll fall.
4.Go along the street and past the chemist’s.
Tip:
حروف اضافه ی حرکت معمولاً با فعل های حرکتی مثل run, walk, fly, go میان.

Dependent Prepositions
(after verbs & adjectives)

Tip1:
حروف اضافه ای که بعد از فعل ها یا صفت ها میان و باید حفظ بشن (چون قاعده ی خاصی ندارن).
Examples:
1.I’m worried about my exam.
2.She’s interested in astrology.
3.Everybody laughed at me.
Tip2:
بعضی فعل ها همیشه با یک حرف اضافه خاص میان
(مثل: laugh at)
بعضی صفت ها هم همین طور
(interested in, afraid of)
Tip3:
اگر بعد از حرف اضافه، فعلی بیاد، باید با
-ing باشه:
She’s good at drawing.
