  2. inihibits calcium influx during phase 2 of cardiac cycle
  3. Reduces Chronotropy, inotropy, dromotropy
  4. Vasodilation
  5. Impair insulin release
  6. Bradycardia, Hypotension, heart blocks, Hyperglycaemia
  7. Cardiogenic shock
  8. MODS
  9. Death
