A

British Lung Foundation who launched a petition in 2011, gaining more than 50,000 signatures to implement a ban on smoking in cars, that gained support from over 700 health care professionals, MPs, other anti-smoking agencies and the public.

They got support from Napo (probation officer’s union) as well as lawyers and the police. PAS were able to change people’s views, eventually making stalking a specific offence under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.
