Somatic Symptom Disorder
- focuses on multiple symptoms with no medical cause

-faking a physical/psychological disorder for gain
Factitious Disorders
-faking a physical/psychological disorder for no gain
-maybe sympathy or attention
Disassociation
-disconnects from thoughts, feelings, memories, and sense of identity
Derealization
-individual loses sense of reality from the external world
Depersonalization
-individual detaches from body, thoughts, feelings, sense of self
Disassociative Identity Disorder (DID)
-up to 100 personalities/fragments coexist in one body/mind
Persistent Depressive Disorder (PDD)
-Persistent depressed mood, low self-esteem, withdrawal, pessimism, despair
-present for at least 2 years
-no absence in symptoms for over 2 months

-single/recurrent depressive episodes
Dysthymic Disorder
-PDD
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder
-child has chronic negative moods
-anger/irritability w/ no mania
