Returns leaked fluids back to vessel
cleanses blood/ is involved with immunity
Lymphatic system
Inc.: nasal passages, larynx , pharynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs
Supplies blood with O2
Removes CO2
Respiratory system
Inc.: oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines and accessory organs.
Breaks down food
Allows for nutrient absorption in blood
Eliminates indigestible material as feces
Digestive system
Inc.: kidneys ureters urethra and the urinary bladder
Eliminates nitrogenous wastes
Maintains ph acid- base balance
Regulates water and electrolytes
Urinary system
Forms external body covering (skin) Protects deeper tissue Helps reg body temp Location of cutaneous nerve receptors Synthesizes vitamin D
