Q

Why and how should you control temperature and humidity in a storage area?

A

insulate the storage area to keep temperatures between 40 and 100 to prevent product damage. Heat and cold can damage the products, humidity can damage labels and dry formulations

Q

What design details help reduce the risk of or damage from pesticide spills and fires?

A

Spills - floor should be impermeable, free of cracks, floor should be sloped, beamed, or equipped with a sump that can contain at least 25% of total liquid volume stored. The grounds of the facility should be diked or drained to collect runoff
