What is displacement?

The vector that points from point 1 to point 2

The displacement divided by time

Delta X=x2-x1

(x2-x1) / (t2-t1)

The velocity at a specific point

How do we find instantaneous velocity?

delta x/ delta t... or the derivative of x with respect to t

What is the difference between speed and velocity?

Velocity is a vector while speed is not. Speed is represented by a v with no subscripts

How do we find instantaneous x-velocity at a point?

Find the tangent line to said point. Make sure the limit of delta x approaches zero

What is acceleration?

The rate of change of velocity with respect to time

What is the formula for average acceleration?

(V2x-V1x) / (t2-t1)... aka delta Vx/ delta t

The limit of the average acceleration as the time interval approaches zero... or the derivative of velocity with respect to time

The concavity of a function..If it's concave up, the acceleration is increasing and vice versa.

Where the change in velocity is constant
