Источник

A

A source of income
She is a source of happiness

Origin is the place where that particular thing started.
Source is the place where that thing is coming from but cannot necessarily be the origin( but also can)

Eg for SOURCE: our source of light is the Sun (over here the Sun is a thing from which we are receiving light, but light doesn’t originate from the Sun, for example the light which we get from the bulbs in our house doesn’t come from the Sun it comes because of electricity)

Eg of ORIGIN: The origin of the coronavirus was Wuhan. (over here the coronavirus STARTED in Wuhan)

Remember you can use SOURCE in place of ORIGIN, but you cannot use ORIGIN in place of SOURCE.
