HAC requirements
- Meet the requirements for HAC specified in CNAF
- Satisfactorily complete an approved MH-60R HAC PQS syllabus.

Minimum pilot currency requirements per NATOPS
- Maintain a current NATOPS evaluation in model.
- Maintain a current instrument rating in accordance with CNAF.
- Satisfy night and instrument minimum flying hours as set forth in CNAF.

VERTREP QUALIFICATIONS
Complete 4 day field or shipboard evolutions within 365 days.
If currency expires, complete initial requirements.
Night shipboard external cargo operations shall not be conducted except for reasons of operational necessity.

Shipboard DLQ Currency
Air Capable Free deck:
- Day: 4/180
- Night: 6/90
Note
- Clear deck may be used to extend free deck (Not to exceed 180 days)
- Free confers clear; Air capable confers aviation
- Night confers day (During requalification)

LSO currency requirements
2 day free decks/180 days (day currency)
2 night clear deck/180 days (night currency)
If currency expires, 6 day/6 night (3 of each shall be free deck)
If 12 months lapse: 5 day/5 night Free deck

NFO USS IA
Non-tactical/Fam Flights: HAC/QO or H2P/H2P
FCF: FCP/QO/AW (or TFO crewmember)
Orientation: HAC/QO/AW
Utility: HAC/PQM/AW
SAR: HAC/PQM/AWR crew chief/ H60 SAR aircrewman
SUW/ASW: HAC/ATO/SO
INSTRUMENT
- HAC/Naval Aviator or 2 H2Ps
AIR CAPABLE
DAY/VMC:
- 2x H2Ps and 1x aircrewman. OR
- 1x HAC, 1x qualified observer, and 1x aircrewman
NIGHT/IMC:
- 1x HAC, 1x PQM, and one aircrewman
