APB: O-scaphoid, trapezium, flexor retinaculum, and tendon of the abductor pollicis longus I-base of prox phalanx, radial side of thumb Fx-palmar abd.

OP: O-trapezium and flex retinaculum; I-1st mc; fx-opposition

FPB: superficial head: O-trapezium, trapezoid, capitate, and flex ret; I-base of prox phalanx, radial side of thumb; fx-thumb mcp flex, deep head innervated by ulnar nerve.

Lumbricals (radial side): O-tendons of flex digitorum profundus, index and middle fingers (radial and palmar sides). I-radial side of digits 2 and 3 into ext expansion. fx-MCP flex and ext of IP joints.

palmar interossei: O-first palmar: ulnar surface of 2nd MC; 2nd palmar radial surface of 4th metacarpal; third palmar radial surface of 5th MC. I-first palmar: ulnar surface of 2nd MC; 2nd palmar: radial surface of 4th prox phalanx; third palmar: radial surface of 5th prox phalanx. FX-adduction and assistance with MCP flex/ext of IP joints of digits 2-5.

Dorsal Interossei: O-all 4 mm arise form the adjacent sides of the MCs; I-prox phalanx on the radial aspect of the index, radial and ulnar sides of middle finger, and ulnar side of the ring finger (all into extensor digitorum). FX-abduction adn assists with MCP flex/ext of IP joints of D 2-5.
