What does the Urinary System consist of?
two kidneys, two ureters, one bladder and one urethra.
The male reproductive system consist of?
Penis and the scrotum that contains two testicles.
The female reproductive system consist of?
Ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina and breast.
Because of the close proximity of the urinary tract to the productive organs, the reproductive organs of the male and female are also referred to?
Genitourinary tract.
What does the Urinary System do?
Remove water, wastes from the body and maintains electrolyte balance in the blood.
The kidneys are the main organs of the urinary system and constantly filter?
Blood to remove excess waste and water excreted form the body as urine.
The Uteres are two narrow tubes that?
Transport the urine form each kidney to the urinary bladder.
What does the Urinary Bladder do?
Stores the urine until excretion from the body via the Urethra.
