Secondary sources
records produced during the time period being studied and often produced by the people involved in the events being studied
Primary sources
are objects made by man. They may be small relics, towering monuments, or priceless works of art.
Artifacts
simply the handing down of information by word of mouth from generation to generation.
Tradition
more accurate records of the past such as private letters, inventory lists, inscriptions, diaries, and journals
Written Records
The word comes from a Latin word meaning “city,” and it refers to human culture lived in cities or under their influence.
civilization
an individuals’ commitment to concentrate on a given endeavor necessary for human existence
Specialization
A system of rules, regulations, and account ability that governs all who take part in the functions of a city
Organization
