what are the core symptoms of ADHD

-note, kid who doesnt have ADHD. will not develop ADHD just bc his sugar intake
what is the first line therapy in tx ADHD
amphetamines (adderall/Vyvanse) and methyphenidates (ritalin, concerta, Focalin)

-btw 6 months and 2 years of age, development of encephalopathy w/ other symptoms
loss of purposeful hand movements, stereotypical motions, loss of previously acquired speech/language/social skills, Ataxia, head-circumference growth decelerates
Rett’s disorder
-prognosis is progressive, note childhood disintegrative disorder is not progressive, reaches a plateau phase
marked regression in several areas after at least 2 years of normal development, usually onset is btw 3 and 4 years of age
childhood disintegrative disorder
